The Sixth Step up the narrow path to Financial Freedom in Canada

by Leslie Michael

"My son, pay attention to my wisdom, listen well to my words of insight, that you may maintain discretion and your lips may preserve knowledge." – Solomon

Successful people have been teaching the rest of us the path of success for centuries. If success is a habit then so is mediocrity and failure.

The first thing we must do is to think big. It takes just as much energy to think big as it does to think small so you might as well think big.

“If it doesn’t matter who wins or loses, then why do they keep score? " – Vince Lombardi

Play the money game to win. The same attitude applies for money. Create a financial game plan to win the money game and stick to it.

“Instead of complaining that the rosebush is full of thorns, be happy that the thornbush has roses” – German proverb

It takes 21 days to start a new habit and break a bad one. Can you go 21 days without complaining?

“Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life.” – Jesus Christ

Why worry? Worrying keeps people in a state of tension. It has never added value to your life. All it does is make you focused on future events that may or may not happen. You need to give up the one thing you never had in the first place – control.

“A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” – Winston Churchill

When it comes to money and financial choices, always be positive. It will keep you moving more energetically through life’s journey
